Introduction to faith

Blessed be our Father and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Honour and glory be to the Holy Spirit who is the teacher and the councellor of spritual walk with God. All gratitude and thank be to God who graced me with this opportunity to share with you His word on “FAITH”. Though we all agree that Faith is certainly a key and an essential element in the Kingdom of God system of operation, most of us still do not know what faith really is. God has freely given us by grace through faith all things (Ephesians 2:8 KJV). The free gift of SALVATION, DELIVERANCE, REDEMPTION, HEALING, RESTORATION, PROSPERITY AND, ETERNAL LIFE is accessible by faith and thought faith.

Ephesians 2:8 King James Version (KJV)
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

One of the difficulties that we experience as believers in Christ is to distinguish between believe and Faith. Most teachers of the word of God are ignorant of the fact that, believe and faith are not the same, faith is not something that one can produce naturally by his own will, but something that God produce through His Spirit to enable one to respond to the Gospel of Christ. I must submit to you that all believes but not all have faith, hence it is possible for one to believe apart from faith but one cannot have faith apart from believe, The sacred scripture declares that the devil believes that there is one God, but we all know that the devil cannot be saved. Since salvation is through faith only and the devil cannot be saved, that can only mean that the devil has no faith and cannot have faith.

James 2:19 King James Version (KJV)
“Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.”

One believes that the devil exists but one does not have faith in the works of the devil. I have already mentioned earlier that though all may believe not all may have faith, because faith cannot be produced naturally by man, but faith is of God. The sacred scripture declares that the natural man receives not the things of God.

1 Corinthians 2:14 King James Version (KJV)
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

One by nature does not have faith for faith is of God, and all who have receive the same spirit of faith believes.

2 Corinthians 4:13 King James Version (KJV)
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

Faith is not something that can be acquired by intellectual mean but something that may be obtained throuhg the spirit of God.

2 Peter 1:1 King James Version (KJV)
Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
May Gods’ be mercyful and cause the light of His face to shine upon you.
