Introduction to the blood

Without the blood of Jesus we cannot be released from sin and all dead works, God made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that we may be the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. In Jesus He delivered us out of the domain of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear son.

According to the Old Covenant worship, the high priest was the only mediator between the people and God, only the High priest could enter the holy of holies. The blood of Jesus established a new, better covenant, though the blood of Jesus the worshipper of God can now enter the holy of holies. Christ is not only our mediator; he is also our advocate before the Father. The blood of Abel opposed Cain before God, but the blood of Jesus declares that we are the sons of God, we are the righteousness of God, and we have peace with God.

Christ is our ESCAPE GOAT. Remember that the sacred scripture declares in Romans 6 vs. 23 that “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”. So Christ our escape goat paid it all, He died for our sins, in Him we have eternal life. The bible says; Christ our High priest entered the heavenly sanctuary with His own blood once and for all. The blood of Jesus is fresh everyday to sanctify all sinners, the scripture in Revelation 19 vs. 13 declares that “He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.”

The bible in John 1:31 tells us that John the Baptist come by water only “I did not recognize Him, but so that He might be manifested to Israel, I came baptizing in water.” But Jesus Christ comes with the water and the blood;

The Water - which is the baptism that revealed him at the beginning of his earthly ministry. John came baptizing in water in order that Christ should be made manifest (John 1:31). It was while in the waters of the Jordan that Christ was manifested and anointed for His ministry. Matthew 3:16 declares that “After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and lighting on Him,”
The Blood - which he shed at the cross which completed His earthly ministry. On the cross flowed the water and the blood. John 19:34 “But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out”.

At Jordan when after Christ was baptized the Spirit of God made Him manifest and bear witness that He is the son of God. The same Spirit still testifies about Christ. John 15:26 “When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me. Also in John 1: 32 John testified saying, “I have seen the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and He remained upon Him. 33 “I did not recognize Him, but He who sent me to baptize in water said to me, ‘He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon Him, this is the One who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.’ 34 I myself have seen, and have testified that this is the Son of God.”

May God’s be mercyful and cause the light of His face to shine upon you.
